Gathering of Visual Materials (Part 1)

Today I went to Karaka Cafe at Te Raukura, Whakewaka Function Centre located at Wellington Waterfront.

This cafe has an outside dining that the visually impaired tourist may enjoy. They also have a terraced grass infront of the lagoon. The research for the outdoor dining is aiming to accommodate the sense of taste and touch through the local food and outdoor setting.

Critique, Ideate

Yesterday, I spoke again to Fay about my final choice of activity and requested for another feedback.

I was planning to go for my second choice of activity (shopping), but through the second feedback, I was encourage to pursue the first idea. The first proposal was community service, and from there, it was narrowed down to destination sites for the visually impaired. At the end of the day, I did some research on possible locations in wellington that will be enjoyed by the visually impaired.

From the last studio class, we were asked to finalise and further investigate
the set of recreational activities for the project.

I re-evaluated the set of recreational activities based on the feedback from
group activity and tutors. Using the feedback I was able to decide which of
the set I should continue on investigating.
